Our Mission
Alumbrando Caminos mission is driven by the fundamental belief that there is always a pathway to a better life for the youth despite the numerous challenges that exist. To achieve our mission we promote and encore young people to live a life following God.
Our Vision
The ability to provide an encouraging and Christ-Centered church oriented towards the individuality and needs of every person. We strive to create a community where it is practiced living life in the image and likeness of God.
Since the global pandemic, many communities around the nation have been affected in many ways, including the lack of basic necessities such as food. We were excited to support our community by providing boxes of food to families in need throughout the Lawrenceville, Ga community.
ACJC started the Breakfast in Hot Water mission to provide a warm breakfast meal to children in the town of Aguascalientes, Mexico. What started as a small project feeding a group of 10 children in 2018 has transformed into a group of 50 children that are being feed a warm breakfast meal each week!
Built By The Community, For The Community
Galatians 6:10
“Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.”
ACJC gathers and brings youth from all over the nation to concede in building deeper relationships with fellow brothers and sisters of Christ through acts of community service. Christ servant leadership is contagious, and what we strive to show is youth leading the community and congregation through different human races and experiences!

Remembering many of our first days of school can seem like a century ago. For most of us we never thought that a bookbag full of school supplies would be something we would go to school without. For many children in the city of Aguascalientes, Mexico, school can be very devastating with the limited amount of supplies and resources their country offers. At ACJC our youth uses the idea of being the ordinary person who stands out, and wishes they could succeed but aren’t given the ample opportunity to.
With this mindset we have an empathic obligation to be the change to others! ACJC started the “Back to School” drive to help children have the same given opportunity as their peers. In low economical cities families aren’t supplied with the adequate amount of help and support for their children to individually succeed in school. With rising prices in school supplies, financially supported families are coming with their “hands tied” for helping their children in preparation for school. It is well known that children with school supplies excel in learning, have a great self-esteem and are motivated to continue education in school’s curriculum.
